Yes! Imaging software allows us to
change photos that we take of you to give you a good idea of how
proposed dental procedures can give you the smile you've always wanted.

We like to see children when they're
about 2 ½ years old. We've found it's best to introduce them into
the office gradually-have them come with Mom or Dad (or even a big
sister or brother) when they get their teeth cleaned. The children
can explore the play area (with its big toy chest), receive stickers,
sit on the dental chair, and just have fun. Then, when they come
in for their first visit, we schedule plenty of time. They'll get
to see themselves on our TV screen (the intra-oral camera). We're
a very child-friendly office; we want to keep children relaxed and
having fun.

As a courtesy to you, our staff will help file all insurance claims.
We are happy to help in every way in filing your claims and we will
work with you to determine your benefits and coverage.

You can choose from a variety of payment
options. If you pay for your treatment in full up front, you'll
receive a 5% courtesy. Senior citizens who pay in full up front
receive a 10% courtesy. You can also make low interest monthly
payments for treatment through third party financing options like
CareCredit or Dental
Fee Plan. All of these options
make getting the dental work you want very affordable.

Whitening (or bleaching) your teeth
is a very safe procedure when done properly. We can do whitening
in office, or we have take-home trays that you can use if you prefer.
There are several advantages to having us make these trays for you.
They fit your mouth specifically, so the whitening bleach won't get
all over your gums and you won't swallow the bleach mixture. The
professionally-made trays also cover all of your teeth instead of
just the front six.

There are many ways that you can change
the appearance of your teeth, starting with whitening. You may also
want to consider options such as veneers, crowns or porcelain restorations,
which can provide dramatic improvements in the way you look in a
relatively short time.

We offer many comfort measures so
patients can feel more at ease when visiting our office. You can
listen to music on headphones, or watch your choice of cable television
shows. We can provide blankets and pillows so you'll feel warm and
relaxed. We also offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help you relax
during dental treatments.

It's a way of showing you how your
smile can look with different types of dental treatments. After a
complete exam, we take a full set of photos of you and your mouth
and input them into the computer. We then design your smile electronically,
so you can see what you look like now and what you could look like.
As part of this process, we go over every option for treatment and
discuss ways that we can give you the look you want in a way that
is affordable for you.

Call our office right away. We will
get you in as soon as possible, usually the next day, to restore
it and fix it, or make a brand new one if necessary.

If possible, rinse (don't scrub) the
tooth and put it back into your child's mouth. If that's not possible,
save the tooth in a glass of milk. In either case, call our office
right away and get in to see us as soon as possible.

We are always conscious of the need
to protect your health. We use the most advanced sterilization system
available for all our instruments and tools.

We're looking at you as a whole patient,
not just at your teeth. We won't pass judgment if you haven't been
to the dentist in 20 years, whether that's because you've been frightened
to come in or because you were worried you couldn't afford dental
care. We treat every patient as an individual.
We're also very warm and family friendly.
We have whole families that come to see us, starting with the grandparents
and going all the way down through the generations to their youngest
grandchildren.

Yes, you should be very concerned
about this. Healthy gums never bleed. Make an appointment for a dental
examination right away, and have your hygienist and dentist evaluate
the health of your gums.

We can provide educational materials
and demonstrations about all of these topics in our office-just ask!
We can show you actual case histories and before and after models
so you get a good idea of each type of procedure. We can also refer
you to good Web sites, such as the American
Dental Association, that
can provide additional information.

If it's been a long time since your
last dental exam, you should schedule one and talk to your hygienist
and your dentist about your concerns. Bad breath problems sometimes
come from the tongue, and there are many types of treatment that
they can recommend to help you.

Yes, flossing is important for a number
of reasons. For starters, it helps you avoid bad breath and bleeding,
puffy gums.
